Energy Movier 1.0.5 is a video converter developed by Energy Sistem, a multimedia portable devices manufacturer. This video converter is available for free at the Energy Sistem web site in its download section. The basic – and maybe the only – function on Energy Movier is to convert your video files in such a way that they are optimized to be played in the Energy portable players. This optimization involves image size, frames per second, and data speed. All these parameters are modified to make a lighter video file so you can carry more files on your device, keeping the quality in an appropriate level.
The application allows you to select the quality level for the output, among high, medium and low. It also allows you to select the aspect ratio from Full, 4:3, and 16:9. Finally, it allows you to choose the model of player you own from the list of Energy models. The interface supports three languages: Spanish, French, and English.
With Energy Movier you can convert videos you have stored in the hard drives of your computer, and you can also convert videos located on web sites. In the later case, you need to provide the URL for the video. Energy Movier will first download the video file and then proceed to convert it just like a local video file.
The converted files are dramatically downsized which is a great advantage, if the portable device has a limited amount of free memory. The downsizing is due primarily to the reduction of image size, so you won’t notice any quality loss since the screen in the portable player is actually smaller. |
